About Radish Cultivation

Summer types: Sow in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Place seeds 1/4" deep and 1-2" apart in a row or a 6-8" band. Firm soil over seeds. Harvest when radishes reach desired size by pulling entire plant. Winter types: Sow seeds in August and pull plants before the first hard freeze. Store in damp sand in a cool place or use fresh.
